The proposed amendment to the Jekyll Island Master Plan was introduced and the procedure outlined according to Georgia Code 12-3-294.1 (d) on 9/13/04 at the Annual Meeting of the Jekyll Island-State Park Authority.  The proposed amendment was considered for approval or rejection at the November 15, 2004 meeting of the Jekyll Island-State Park Authority.

A PUBLIC HEARING was held on Thursday, October 7, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at the Jekyll Island Convention Center, Beachside Hall.  The public was invited to participate and submit verbal as well as written comments on the proposed amendment. 

A PUBLIC MEETING was held on Thursday, October 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the Jekyll Island Convention Center, Beachside Hall to allow interested parties an additional opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed amendment.
